The FIT Per Person price type is a variation of the standard FIT pricing, where the rate is calculated based on the number of guests instead of the room as a whole. This means the final price changes depending on how many people occupy the room. Configuring FIT Per Person is important because it allows hotels to apply fair and flexible pricing, especially when handling single, double, or family occupancies. It ensures more accurate revenue management and gives guests transparent pricing that reflects their actual stay.
- Click on the Configurations icon.
- Once this menu pops up, click on Price Type.
- Once you’ve been redirected to this page, click on Add new.
- Once you fill in the necessary information, make sure to turn the Active switch on.
- And for the last step, click on Update.
