How to configure Pet policies in Spoonbill PMS.

Pet policies let you define whether pets are allowed, any charges for their stay, and the pet-friendly amenities or services you offer, such as beds, toys, or grooming kits. Clearly configuring pet policies is important because it sets guest expectations, avoids misunderstandings upon arrival, and helps attract or filter travelers based on your property’s pet rules. Detailed pet policies also improve guest satisfaction by showing you care about their furry companions, which can enhance your reputation and increase bookings.

 

  • Click on the Configurations icon.

 

 

  • Once this menu pops up, click on Hotel Policies.

 

 

  • Once you’re in this page, click on Pet policy.

 

 

  • To allow pets in your property, turn the Active switch on and select yes on the Do you allow pets dropdown.

 

 

  • After you select Yes, the Charge dropdown appears, letting you choose whether pets stay for free, require payment, or specify a custom fee. Below, in the Pet tools section, you can enable amenities and services for guests traveling with pets by toggling options like Pet Baskets, Pet Toys, Pet Beds, Pet-Friendly Welcome Packages, and more. Each option allows you to tailor your pet-friendly offerings, enhancing guest experience for those traveling with animals. Once all settings are configured, click the Save button in the upper-right corner to apply your pet policy.
