Storage locations are used to organize and track where physical items—like cleaning supplies, minibar stock, or maintenance tools—are stored within the hotel. They are important because they help staff manage inventory efficiently, prevent stock shortages or overstocking, and ensure items are always available when needed. Properly setting up storage locations improves organization, saves time, and supports smooth day-to-day operations.
- Click on the Configuration icon.
- Now click on Storage locations.
- Once you’re redirected to this page, click on Add new.
- After filling in the necessary information, turn the Active switch on.
- And for the final step, click on Update.
