# How to open the Cash Tax Register in Spoonbill PMS.

This tutorial explains how to open the daily cash register in Spoonbill PMS. Opening the register is required once per day before processing any payments or invoices.

- First you have to click on **Front Desk**.

- Click on **My Cash Tax Register**.

- Click on the button with the plus sign to enter the **actions** for the specific **cash register**.

- Now you need to make the initial transaction. To do that click on **Add Transaction**.

- This form will display. Enter the initial amount and click on the **Save **button.

- Your transaction will appear on the **Transaction List**.
