# How to create a season on Spoonbill PMS.

Seasons help you categorize different time periods throughout the year, making it easier to manage your property’s operations. Setting up seasons allows you to organize your rating plans availability and track different periods more effectively. This guide will walk you through the process of creating a season in Spoonbill PMS, providing a clear structure for managing your property throughout the year. Follow the steps below to get started.

 

-     Click on the **Price Markup** icon.

-     After the menu pops up click on **Seasons**.

-     After clicking on **Seasons** you will be able to see a list of the seasons created on your property, to create a new one click on **Add New**.

-     You will be directed to this form, enter the information based on your needs and click on **Save & Continue **to be able to define a time period.

-     Click on **Add New**.

-     After clicking on **Add New **a small window will pop up in which you need to click on **Add New **again and enter the **Start Date **and **End Date **of the time period.

-     Now just click on **Update **and the **Season **will be created with all the necessary information.
