# How to configure Hotel Rules in Spoonbill PMS.

- Click on the **Configurations **icon.

- Once this menu pops up, click on **Hotel Policies**.

- Once you've been redirected to this page, click on **Rules**.

- Once you're here, click on **Add new**.

- Once you've clicked Add new, you will be redirected to this page (where you create rules). After filling in the necessary information, make sure to turn the **Active **switch on and then click on **Save & Continue**.

- Once you've clicked **Save & Continue, **the **Add New** button will appear beside Subsections. If you want to create a subsection, click on it.

- After clicking **Add New, **this menu will pop up. Fill in all of the necessary information, make sure to turn the **Active** switch on and then click on **Add new. **

- And for the last step, click on **Update**. You can do this process as many times as you wish because there is no limit on the number of rules or subsections you can create.
